On Wedenesday 11 of January the first live educational seminar of the “Story Making and Reading for ALL” project was completed.
Fifteen professionals working with visually impaired people learned to create digital tactile stories using new technology. The participants had the opportunity to understand the basic principles of storytelling and to create the audio description of each story themselves through experiential activities. At the same time, they became familiar with the editing software and technical terms, and were able to create their own tactile images by following the steps of the guide to convert digital images into 3D tactile images,.
The seminar includeded live training of the professionals while taking advantage of asynchronous distance learning through the electronic platform https://elearn.stories4all.eu/.
The action was hosted at the 1st KAPI of the Municipality of Elliniko – Argyroupoli and at Amimoni’s facilities in Elliniko.
The Story Making and Reading for ALL (Stories4ALL) project, 2021-1-EL01-KA210-SCH-000031465, KA210/ Small-Scale Partnerships-School Education Sector, Erasmus+2021 is a partnership of e-Nable Greece, MICROKOSMOS and AMIMONI and its ultimate goal is the promotion of creativity and the development of digital skills of teachers with the final recipient being the visually impaired student and the entire educational community.
