The website www.amimoni.gr is the website of the Panhellenic Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Vision Problems and Additional Disabilities – Amimoni (hereinafter “Amimoni”). The use of this website is governed by the following terms and conditions, which apply to all its content and its individual pages.
- USE OF THE WEBSITE
Every user who enters, navigates or uses the services of the website is presumed to have read the terms of use and accepts them unconditionally. If any user does not agree with these terms, then he must refrain from using the website at his own risk.
“Amimoni” reserves the right to freely modify or revise the terms and conditions of use, without warning, and undertakes the obligation to inform users of any change. The user should periodically check the Terms of Use in order to be informed of their content and is solely responsible for updating them.
Any invalidity of some of the terms herein does not result in the invalidity of the rest. The non-exercise by “Amimoni” of its rights under these terms does not imply a waiver of these rights.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
“Amimoni” through this website provides information about its programs, campaigns, events and its overall charitable work.
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information and safe use, Amimoni and its licensors, creators, editors and contributors are not responsible for errors or omissions and make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness or accuracy, or whether the contents of the website are up-to-date. “Amimoni” does not guarantee the technical perfection, availability, integrity or security of the website, its use or access to it. Users are invited and expected, under their own responsibility, to take all necessary measures to protect the security and integrity of their systems.
“Amimoni” is not responsible for any legal or civil and/or criminal claims nor for any damage (positive, special or cumulative which indicatively and not restrictively, disjunctively and/or cumulatively consists of loss of profits, data, lost profits, monetary compensation, etc.) from users of the website or third parties for a reason related to the operation or use of this, even if “Amimoni” has been informed about it.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The content of the website, including images, graphics, software, photos, drawings, texts, services and products provided are the intellectual property of “Amimoni” and are protected by the relevant provisions of Greek, European and international law.
Any reproduction, republishing, uploading, announcement, dissemination or transmission or any other use of the content in any way or medium for commercial purposes is only permitted with the prior written permission of “Amimoni” or any other legal owner of the above copyrights. Users are entitled to republish articles, announcements, events, etc. on the internet, provided that the republishing is for informational purposes and that the republished content is necessarily accompanied by an active hyperlink of origin and reference to the source.
- USER RESPONSIBILITY
The users of the website undertake that they will not use the website to send, publish, transmit or otherwise make available any content that is illegal, threatening, offensive, defamatory, obscene, is a violation of another’s privacy, expresses racial or other discrimination, violates patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights of any third party, contains software viruses or any other codes, files or programs, designed to interrupt, damage, destroy or prevent the operation of any computer software or hardware and in general it violates the current Greek and European legislation.
The user is solely responsible for any damage caused to “Amimoni” by the user’s improper or unfair use of the relevant services as described above.
- SECURITY OF TRANSACTIONS
All payments made using a card are processed through Alpha Bank’s “Alpha e-Commerce” electronic payment platform and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with a 128-bit encryption protocol (SecureSocketsLayer – SSL). Encryption is a way of encoding information until it reaches its intended recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
- DONATIONS
All donations paid to “Amimoni” are exclusively used to cover the operational costs of the four programs it operates as well as for the implementation of campaigns in accordance with its purposes.
Donations to “Amimoni” are irrevocable and non-refundable. A refund is possible exceptionally and only for the case in which the donor filled in the donation amount incorrectly. In this case, the donor should submit, within one (1) business day of making the donation, a relevant refund request to “Amimoni”, by sending an email to the address info@amimoni.gr where the actual amount will be indicated of the donation he wants to make.
“Amimoni” will make the refund of the excess amount through the electronic payment platform “Alpha e-Commerce” of Alpha Bank within seven (7) working days from the date of submission of the refund request.
- PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
An integral part of these terms of use is the protection of the personal data of the users of the website, in accordance with what is defined in the relevant section of the Personal Data Protection Policy. “Amimoni” has ensured a high level of protection, which meets the requirements of the national and European legislation for the protection of personal data, in accordance with the European General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law 4624 /2019, the relevant decisions, directives and regulatory acts of the Personal Data Protection Authority.
- USE OF LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
This website may refer via hyperlinks to other websites, which belong to third parties and therefore are not under the management of “Amimoni” and there is no possibility of intervention on its part in their content. The providers of these external websites bear full civil and criminal responsibility for the security and validity of the content and information contained therein.
Amimoni does not guarantee their availability and bears no responsibility for the content, correctness, legality, completeness and accuracy of the information, nor for the quality and properties of the products or services available from third-party websites. Users’ connection to these external websites is at their own risk and in any case, users must contact the providers of these websites directly for anything that may arise from their visit and use.
- APPLICABLE LAW
These terms of use are governed by and supplemented by Greek law and any dispute arising will be resolved through good faith negotiations. In case of failure to resolve the dispute, the courts of Athens will be exclusively competent.
