The emblematic space of the Athens Concert Hall was flooded with music, young voices and beautiful images, in a festive concert in favor of the aims of Amimoni, in the presence of the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
A crowd of people responded to Amimoni’s call and experienced a unique evening with music and songs by the leading Greek songwriter Dionysis Savvopoulos, who was the artistic director of the concert, but also went on stage to sing.
He was joined by the exceptional artists Elli Paspala and Christos Thivaios, as well as the orchestra and choir of the Music School of Volos, chosen by Dionysis Savvopoulos with a symbolic and substantial character. They wowed the audience by playing and singing their greatest hits.
The organization of the concert was the inspiration and initiative of Maria Fragoudaki, who has written together with Alexandros Iacovou, two songs especially for Amimoni, “I will shout it out loud” and “I will love you”, which they performed while going up to the scene of the Palace.
Maria Fragoudaki was inspired by the lyrics of the song “I will shout it out loud” after meeting Amimoni and wanted to hold this concert dedicating it to the children of Amimoni.
At the end of the evening, Amimoni’s President, Paraskevi Bellou, addressed a short greeting thanking the performers of the concert, as well as the audience for the great response and support of the Association’s work.
