Amymoni, within the framework of the National Action \u201cPromotion of Family and Child Health\u201d (Ministry of Health \u2013 UNICEF), is implementing for the first time in Greece the internationally recognized Triple P \u2013 Positive Parenting Program\u00ae, having successfully completed its official certification.<\/p>\n
Triple P is one of the most effective positive parenting programs worldwide, with over 30 years of scientific research and implementation in 25 countries.<\/p>\n
Its goal is to empower parents with practical tools to develop positive, healthy and stable family relationships, prevent difficulties and effectively manage demanding behaviors.<\/p>\n
It has already supported more than four million children and families worldwide.<\/p>\n
Stepping Stones Triple P \u2013 Specialized support for parents of children with developmental or psychosocial challenges<\/p>\n
Amymoni, within the framework of the pilot implementation of the Triple P Stepping Stones program by the Ministry of Health and the UNICEF Office, is one of the Civil Society organizations that have been selected to offer the relevant services free of charge to new parents.<\/p>\n
The program is aimed at parents of children up to 12 years of age who face:
\n\u2022 developmental difficulties
\n\u2022 neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD, etc.)
\n\u2022 psychosocial challenges
\n\u2022 behavioral difficulties
\n\u2022 intellectual disability
\n\u2022 cerebral palsy
\nand other corresponding difficulties<\/p>\n
The program helps parents to:<\/p>\n
effectively manage difficult behaviors
\nreinforce their children’s positive skills
\ndevelop realistic expectations
\nbuild stable relationships
\nreduce stress and the challenges of everyday life

The seminars are held in cycles of 3 thematic topics, lasting 90 minutes, and can be attended individually or as a group.<\/p>\n
