In an interactive way and utilizing all the senses, the educational program “Educate art, listen to the sea” – The work of Constantinos Volanakis for people with vision problems and other disabilities, is one of the first fully accessible programs for Modern Greek Art aimed at and for the disabled.
The figurative narration of a fairy tale based on the life of Constantinos Volanakis, becomes the basic tool for decoding classical painting in a simple way.
The program, which is a collaboration between the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation and Amimoni, was presented for the first time to the general public, at the premises of our Association and it was very different, since in the same group there were people with visual disabilities, people with vision and additional disabilities, and at the same time people without disabilities, such as two pre-teens and audiences from different professions.
