Amimoni made a study visit to Cork, Ireland, through EASPD’s Lighthouse Network and MF on Arts and Culture.
In Cork we had the opportunity to take part in actions of the Cope Foundation, a non-governmental organization in Ireland, which supports 2800 children and adults with disabilities and has many years of experience and action in areas, such as early intervention, education, work, arts, assisted living shelters, community centers, etc.
From November 21 to 24, Amimoni’s trainer came into contact with both the work being done in the organization’s structures and the community programs. The beneficiaries of the structures themselves presented their experience and their participation in the artistic and educational activities in which they participate.
It was a unique experience, given through the EASPD Member Forum for arts and culture, which builds bridges of interconnection and communication between people, institutions and educational organizations on a European level.
