Two days full of action, emotion and inspiration, where important initiatives were presented, promises of cooperation were made and strong voices were heard for an inclusive society.

Amymoni actively participated in two thematic sections, represented by Ourania Zoi who made a presentation and Christiana Zotou, who coordinated the last thematic section of the second day.
At the same time, experiential activities were held where young and old played and moved with their eyes closed and a tour of the Sensory Integration Room of the “Iris” Day Care Center was held, offering participants the opportunity to get to know firsthand the methods and tools that Amymoni uses to educate and empower people with visual and additional disabilities.

With particular joy and emotion, our President, Ms. Paraskevi Bellou, received an honorary award, receiving the commemorative plaque that was awarded to Amymoni. 💙

In early July, we had the pleasure of co-organizing a special event with Beiersdorf Hellas, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility action and the international initiative Care Beyond Skin Day.
The company’s employees enthusiastically participated in an experiential workshop and created objects with their own hands that “carry” care, love and meaning.

Information, awareness and of course… countless moments of joy, completed the beautiful event!

On Wednesday 2 July 2025, more than 30 professionals, organisations and stakeholders from all over Europe, active in the field of long-term care, participated in the Open Day organised by the European project Care4Skills, in the framework of the Pact for Skills.

👉 The aim of the meeting was the participatory formation of thematic working groups for:

🔹 Person Centred Care

🔹 Digital Skills for care workers

📌 Key issues were discussed such as:

– The need to strengthen care in the community and deinstitutionalisation

– Supporting older people living alone, with a focus on home safety and the provision of technical and digital solutions (e.g. telehealth, smart monitoring devices, emergency alert services)

– Challenges in integrating migrant workers into the care sector

– The importance of upgrading digital skills, appropriate training and technological support at work

📆 The working groups will meet every two months, with the aim of sharing good practices, empowering professionals and effectively reforming the care sector at European level.
