EASPD – AMIMONI
The 8th Organization of the Educational Program “Building an Inclusive school for All” will be held this year in Athens, by the European Organization EASPD (European Association of Service Providers for People with Disabilities) and Amimoni (Panhellenic Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Visual Impairments) and Additional Disabilities), with the aim of enhancing participants’ understanding and expertise in the inclusive education of people with disabilities.

Method of conducting the program
Theoretical modules will alternate with discussion groups, information exchange and feedback from professionals in the field. The chosen training methods are initially based on individualized learning and then reinforced through feedback and review.
Target Audience
The program provides useful educational tools and approaches to school principals, education administrators, teachers and teaching assistants, school counselors, students of humanitarian and social professions, who are interested in participating in a process of active learning and discovering together with their colleagues, at an international level , the way to move towards inclusive education. It is also addressed to professionals who offer support and consulting services (e.g. special educators, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, etc.).
Speakers
The coordinator of the program is the Education Forum of the EASPD, while the organization has been undertaken by a partnership of European organizations and universities that participates in the design and development of inclusive Education throughout Europe. For example, the professors: Annemie Jennes (VSKO, Belgium), Marleen Clissen (VSKO, Belgium), Wolfgang Plaute (Pädagogische Hochschule Salzburg, Austria).

Participation fee
€70 for countries with low GDP*
€220 for countries with high GDP*
The participation fee includes training, lunches, coffee breaks and a dinner.
