On Tuesday 11 October, we happily welcomed the partners of the ART & INCLUSION (2020-1-PT01-KA204- 078809) program to the facilities of the Iris Day Center in Elliniko. Throughout the visit, the program and actions of the Day Center were presented, while emphasis was placed on the analysis of the practices of the Music Therapy program for the use of art as a means for the integration and social integration of people with disabilities and people with mental disorders.
What is ART & INCLUSION?
ART & INCLUSION aims at the social integration and reintegration of people with either disabilities or mental disorders, through the empowerment of professionals and organizations active in these fields. At the same time, it enhances the collection and exchange of good practices between professionals and organizations and artistic actions implemented in the context of non-formal education. The project is co-financed by the Erasmus + program of the European Union and the following organizations participate: Centro Social de Soutelo (Portugal), Equal Society (Greece), Zdruzenie institut Za Razvoj Na Zaednicata (North Macedonia), ARCA Cooperativa Sociale (Italy), Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. (Hungary).
